Rooted in community

From Morris Heights to your corner of New York

I was raised in the Bronx, where I saw both the challenges and the resilience of my community. Growing up in an immigrant family shaped a lifelong commitment to supporting others with empathy, intention, and cultural awareness.

Culturally grounded

I bring cultural humility and a clear awareness of how systemic and structural factors shape mental health — and I welcome clients from all backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities of color.

Bilingual care

Therapy can be hard to start in a second language. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, so you can do this work in the language that feels most like home.

Whole-person view

Disruptions to basic needs — housing, finances, healthcare — affect mental wellness. Drawing on Maslow’s hierarchy, I meet you where you are, with respect and practical support.

How I can help

Therapy shaped around you

I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity, and relationships — and I tailor the work to your goals, not a formula.

My approach is solution-focused, collaborative, and personalized. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and human-centered approaches, weaving in psychoeducation so you feel informed and empowered in your own healing.

What it’s like to work together

Collaborative, practical, and kind

  • We set the direction together. Your goals lead; I bring structure, perspective, and tools.
  • Evidence-based, not one-size-fits-all. CBT, psychodynamic, and human-centered approaches, matched to you.
  • You’ll understand the “why.” Psychoeducation helps you feel informed and empowered between sessions.
  • Strengths first. We build on what’s already working in your life and your community.

“If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck, you’re not alone. Therapy is a space where you can process, learn, and begin to move forward — and I’m here to support you every step of the way.”
